Atlanta

For the past 15+ years, I have had the privilege to call Atlanta "home"...most of the time.  It is my favorite place to live as it has the excitement of the big city, the charm of the South, and the diversity of its people.  𝒀𝒆𝒔, 𝑨𝒕𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕.

There are literally only three things I don't care for: 1)lack of public transportation, 2)far from the ocean, and 3)no downhill skiing.  That being said, outside of the Northeast, most of the country's public transportation is lacking.  (When was the last time a major federal initiative was done...Eisenhower with the now, overflowing interstate system?!?)  In-town Atlanta has the Beltine which I love.  (You will see me talk a lot about its impact on our economy and lifestyle.) 

As for the beach and skiing, well, Atlanta does have the world's busiest airport.  You can literally get to anywhere in the world...and most places via direct flight!
